This got me thinking about what could make a person uninterested in food. I did a bit of research and found that the most common psychological barrier that keeps a person from eating is a type of depression. A person stops eating because the depression overcomes the neurotransmitters in the brain known as "Dopamine" which when active, gives people the feeling of pleasure or reward.
