Trivia: Christmas Eve is a grand time to celebrate in Sweden. In the afternoon, they have a 'julbord', which is a huge buffet of fish, meats, cheeses, bread, and meatballs to name a few. Some more traditional dishes include the ‘koldomar’, which is meat stuffed cabbage rolls, and the ‘risgrynsgrot’, rice porridge eaten with raspberry jam or cinnamon. It sure would be unfortunate to miss out on this great feast with family and friends.
