Lisbeth and the law
As the book explained Lisbeth Salander is considered to be emotional disturbed. When she was little she was put in four different foster homes of which three she ran away from. When she was older the court decided to appoint a guardian to watch over her. Her guardian Plamgren gave her a lot of freedom and let her take care of her own finances. Then when he became ill Salander was appointed a new guardian Bjurman who seemed like she was going to have problems with.
